Playing Catch Up

Has it really been since October of last year that I last blogged?? Wow. SO much has happened since. Really just watching the boys grow by leaps and bounds; especially Luke. He will be 1 next month! Crazy. He finally started crawling this last week at 11 months old. Today was another big milestone for him too. He ate his first finger food, a graham cracker. He has never been into putting anything in his mouth so my other attempts to get him to feed himself something have been pretty worthless. He loved his graham cracker today though! Another thing he learned yesterday was "so big!" When you say "Luke, how big are you?" He puts his arms up in the air while you say "so big!" It's adorable. He's adorable.

Josh is doing great! He has lost 3 teeth since finishing 1st grade. He looks so funny with his toothless grin. I love it! He is such a joy and the greatest helper to his baby brother. He keeps reminding me he misses school. He adored his first grade teacher this year and misses her terribly. It was a wonderful school year for him and he's excited for second grade.

Matthew is as sweet and cute as ever. His big brown puppy eyes melt my heart. He is beyond excited to start Kindergarten in the fall. He loved going to Southwest Preschool this last year and made some great friends. In turn, I made great friends with their mommies!

Pumpkin Patch

Fall is hands down my favorite time of the year. I think it's partly because Autumn doesn't exist in Tucson, where I grew up.
The crisp air, the gorgeous scenery, warm drinks, cozy sweaters and of course pumpkin patches! Here are a few of my favorites from yesterday's visit to Roloff Farms.

Sweet Luke started smiling at 5 weeks!! Really since we got our first one, the rest have been easy to get. He is the sweetest, happiest little guy!
Truly if they were all this easy I could surely handle a fourth. Ha! Did I just say that outloud?!

Josh has come the closest to making him laugh and probably gets the biggest grins so far.....

First Grade

Tuesday was Josh's first day of first grade. In light of now having a newborn in the house, it blows me away how quickly they grow!
Josh was super excited to start the school year. He really loves his school as do we. His teacher seems really great and sent home a special note saying how much she enjoyed having Josh in her class and what a hard worker he is. Of course when asked what his favorite part of the day was he responded "RECESS! We get TWO of them!!"
We're excited to see what this year brings for our sweet first grader!

Hard to believe Luke is already 3 weeks old! He is such a sweet, laid back little blessing! He is consistently waking up just once per night, sleeping in his crib and following a daily routine quite nicely. Thank you Lord!!
